At Woodcroft Primary School we believe that a ‘broad and balanced’ curriculum should include developing the experiences of our pupils in the wider world. Frequently providing unique opportunities and events to the children of Woodcroft inspires their curiosity and engages them in discovery and learning. If you have never been to a beach, how can you write a poem about a beach?
We ensure that each half term every class has a trip or a unique experience to enrich their learning.
We have joined up with The Accorn Centre to provide Forest School sessions for children throughout the academic year- this year it is Year 4 who are going to Billy’s Lake once a week.
