We have a Breakfast Club every morning that is run by Mrs Hawley and our LSAs in the hall from 8.15am – 8.35am. It costs 30p per day where children can choose from a selection of cereals for breakfast. Please contact the school office if you would like to book your child a place.
The school gates will open at 8:30am and doors to classrooms at 8:35am allowing children to go straight to their classrooms. Please do not arrive earlier than 8:30am unless attending Breakfast Club as the school will not be held responsible for your children before this time. Classroom doors will be closed at 8:45am and after this time your child will need to enter via the school office.
All children need to be in school by 8:50am. Any child that arrives after 8:50am but before 9:00am will be marked late. Any child arriving after 9:00am will be marked as an unauthorised absence. Our Home School Link Worker monitors all unauthorised and late absences and takes appropriate action where needed.
Break times are staggered between 10.30am – 11.00am.We have two playgrounds. Key Stage 1 is at the back of the school and Key Stage 2 is at the front. Key Stage 2 also have access to the ball court.
Lunchtimes are between 11:45pm and 12.30pm for Years R, 1, 3 & 5 and 12:30pm and 1:15pm for Years 2, 4 & 6.
There is a whole school assembly every Monday at 9.00am, with the focus being one of our school values. All other assemblies are in the afternoons. Tuesday and Thursday are Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 and Wednesday is the whole School Singing assembly. Friday is our Celebration assembly.
The end of the school day is 3:15pm and children are to be collected from their classroom or unless in years 5 or 6 and other arrangements have been made. If you have an emergency you must call the office to advise us that you will be late in collecting.
Children can sign up on a half termly basis for after school clubs that range from Football, Construction, Karate, Dance and Singing.
Informing the school that your child is ill.
If your child is unwell and not able to attend school, you must phone the school office as soon as possible. The office is manned from 8:15am, and there is an answer machine that is checked throughout the day. If we have not heard from you by 9:15am, our Home School Link Worker will contact you by phone as why your child is not in school.
If your child becomes unwell during the school day, a member of the school office will contact you. We therefore respectfully ask that you keep your contact details up to date with the office.
If you are unsure if your child needs to stay home and not attend school, please phone the school office where a member of staff can advise you.
