Our PE day continues to be on Friday.

Please remove earrings and ensure all PE kit is in school and named.  We will go outside as the weather improves, so please make sure you have suitable clothing and shoes.

We really enjoy seeing photos of your learning from home on Class Dojo.  We will continue to use this to share your child's achievements at school - the children love to talk about their photos and this is a great way of the children developing their speaking and listening skills.

Thank you for your continued support.

We will continue to practise our counting skills and solve simple calculations involving 1 more and 1 less.

Please continue to support your child with their reading and learning teddy words, even if just for 5-10 minutes each day.

We will focus on a different school value each week and think about what they mean.

Our 6 school values are:

Teamwork - Determination - Aspiration - Welcoming - Respect - Achievement

We will continue to share our learning using ClassDojo and we are so pleased so many parents have signed up to this.  Thank you for uploading photos of your child at home.

This is a great way of sharing your child's learning and development.

Autumn 1

We hope you have had a lovely summer and can't wait to see you looking so smart and grown up in your school uniform!

We were really pleased to visit you in your homes and your photos with Harry the Bear will be on our classroom wall!

All of the adults have been very busy getting our classrooms ready for you to learn and play and we have got lots of your favourite things like dinosaurs, cars, drawing, playdough and of course our outdoor areas!

Remember to wait with your grown ups by our classroom door in the mornings and at home time and we will line up in the main playground in a few weeks, once you have settled in!

Please also remember your book bag every day as you will be given a reading book and sometimes there are important letters to go home.

If you completed your summer scrapbook, please bring it in to share with us as we would love to see what you did over the summer.  We hope you had fun decorating your snack placemat too!

This half term, we will be learning all about ourselves and our school values. More information for parents will follow in our curriculum newsletter.

We thank you for choosing our school for your child and we look forward to working closely with you.
